The ACTUAL project (Updating Employee Skills in relation to the need of Labour Market) aims to improve equal access to lifelong learning for all age groups by supporting 36 SMEs operating in the following fields: Tourism and Ecotourism, Textiles and Leather, Construction, Food and Beverage Processing, from the targeted areas such as: the South-East, South Muntenia and South-West Oltenia Regions, in order to develop and introduce on-the-job learning programs as well as by providing training services and assessing and certifying professional skills for 326 employees in accordance with the requirements of jobs in economic sectors/areas identified according to SNC and SNCDI.
The project provides vocational training services for a number of 326 people, employees with individual employment contracts (of which at least 10% – 33 elderly employees aged 55-64), who come from companies operating in the the following fields: Tourism and Ecotourism, Textiles and Leather, Construction, Food and Beverage Processing, from the targeted areas such as: the South-East, South Muntenia and South-West Oltenia Regions

Promoting, among 210 representatives of employers from the South-East, South Muntenia and South-West Oltenia Regions, of the importance and necessity of employee participation in continuing vocational training programs.
Development and consolidation of knowledge, skills and abilities of 290 people from the target group from the South-East, South Muntenia and South-West Oltenia Regions, by participating in vocational training courses in occupations required on the labor market, in accordance with the Applicant's Guide and analysis made by the partnership.
Recognition and certification of professional skills obtained in other ways than formal ones for 36 people in the target group of the project, in occupations required on the labor market and identified in the project.
Supporting 36 SMEs to develop and introduce on-the-job learning programs.
Promoting the secondary themes "Social innovation" and "Supporting the transition to a low-carbon and resource-efficient economy" among 376 stakeholders from the South-East, South Muntenia and South Regions West Oltenia Regions, by supporting presentation modules on this topic and by developing and disseminating 2 Good Practice Guides, in order to improve working conditions and more efficient management of resources.
